Sóller, the soul of Mallorca at your doorstep
There are places that captivate from the first moment. Sóller is one of them: a town with its own personality, surrounded by mountains and orange groves, where time seems to go at a different pace. Its streets, its square, and its architecture tell centuries of history without the need for words. And the best part: arriving is part of the experience, whether by the legendary wooden train or the tram that winds down to the sea. Nature, culture, and authenticity, all in the same valley.

Train of Sóller
A journey that is, in itself, an attraction. Since 1912, the historic wooden train travels the 27 kilometers that connect Palma with Sóller, crossing tunnels and unique mountain landscapes in the world. An essential experience that connects past and present with each journey.

The Tramuntana: where the mountain turns into adventure
Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Sierra de Tramuntana is the natural heart of Mallorca. Peaks, olive groves, and cliffs overlooking the sea that invite you to explore on foot, by bike, or simply contemplate. Hiking, mountain biking, climbing, or scenic drives: the Tramuntana has something for every traveler, at any time of the year.
Cycling
The Tramuntana mountain range is one of the most highly valued cycling destinations in the Mediterranean. Its winding roads, mountain passes, and sea views turn every pedal stroke into a memorable experience. From gentle routes through the Soller Valley to demanding climbs like Puig Major, the Tramuntana offers a route for every level.
Excursions, hiking and trekking
The Tramuntana is a paradise for hiking enthusiasts. A network of historic trails runs through ravines, forests of oaks, and viewpoints overlooking the Mediterranean that are breathtaking. The route of the Pedra en Sec, declared a Grand Tour, is undoubtedly the most emblematic, but there are options for all levels, from peaceful walks through the valley to more demanding treks between mountain villages.
Trail running in the Tramuntana
For mountain runners, the Tramuntana is a scenery of another level. Dirt tracks, trails among pine trees, and views of the Mediterranean that suddenly appear at every turn. The elevation and variety of terrain make this mountain range an increasingly sought-after destination for trail lovers, with Soller as one of the best starting points.
Local experiences
The valley of Sóller hides experiences that go far beyond the landscape. Villages like Fornalutx or Biniaraix, considered among the most beautiful in Spain, surprise with their cobbled streets and authentic atmosphere. Local markets are a must-stop to take the best of the land: oranges, oil, ensaimadas and seasonal products. And Mallorcan gastronomy, among rice, fresh fish and sobrasada, completes an experience that enters through all the senses.
